Selec-Terrain offers maximum four wheel drive performance in different driving conditions as show in the 2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee.

These are the different positions you can select:

(1) Auto – normal driving on hard surface roads – provides smoother steering, better traction and better handling

(2) Snow – improves traction and stability on cold, slippery surfaces

(3) Sand – improves traction and relieves throttle and management issues associated with off-road driving

(4) Mud – minimizes wheel spin on low traction surfaces

(5) Rock – for high traction, off-road surfaces and comes in handy against low-speed obstacles – only available in 4WD low range
